Fueling Alaska’s future, CH2M is hard at work providing preliminary engineering services on the design of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) marine facilities for the Alaska LNG Project. The integrated LNG gas export project could monetize North Slope natural gas.


TraPac Automated Container Terminal, Port of Los Angeles, California

Meeting the need for ever-increasing efficiencies in terminal operations, the Port partnered with us for engineering design of the first fully automated terminal on the U.S. West Coast. 


Moin Container Terminal, Costa Rica

Developing a sustainable container terminal to advance Costa Rica’s global competitiveness, we supported APM Terminals by performing studies and engineering design, and now construction management, for the development of Costa Rica’s largest-ever infrastructure project.


Global Terminal, Bayonne, New Jersey

Accommodating the largest Post-Panamax container vessels in the world, the new wharf and yard expansion, both designed by us, positions the facility as one of the most technologically advanced marine terminals in North America, effectively doubling the number of containers that can be handled at the terminal.


Roy Hill Iron Ore Project, Pilbara, Western Australia

Forecasting 55 million tons of direct ship hematite ore per year, one of the largest mining projects in Australia is receiving complete portside facilities civil infrastructure design support, including rail and road design, from our multidisciplinary team.


Ras Laffan LNG Port Expansion, Qatar

Serving as the world's largest liquefied natural gas export facility, Qatar Petroleum commissioned us to prepare the front-end engineering design package and the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning bidding document for the port expansion, covering an area of almost 20 square miles.


Rosyth Dockyard Infrastructure Upgrade, Rosyth, Fife, Scotland

Housing the assembly and testing of the largest ships ever built for the Royal Navy, our team supported the dockyard upgrade by providing design and construction supervision.

Serving the UK’s biggest and busiest container port, we provided full consultancy services for the Port’s new deepwater quay, accommodating the world's largest container ships.

Serving Abu Dhabi and beyond, the deep water Khalifa Port was sustainably built on an artificial island complex—we provided port master planning and marine and environmental impact assessments to protect the adjacent Ras Ghanada coral reef from the effects of port operations.
