Witold Bonior works in our Krakow, Poland office as a design manager with 11 years of experience (eight in mechanical engineering and three in his current role). As a result of being involved in nearly every international industrial project CH2M is a partner on, Witold knows how important effective communication and setting up the proper team are in timely delivery.
He is passionate about leading our fully functional, integrated design organization comprised of architects, engineers, structural designers and all other disciplines.
“Allocation and commitment of resources is absolutely crucial for our success in international work. In my role, I coordinate with discipline managers to help our colleagues with relevant utilization and resource planning and supervise their inputs,” he said.
His role is also to make sure that our industrial design team understands various project requirements and performs to meet project and client expectations. Witold always strives to find the best method to collaborate across internal business units regardless of location, so that we maximize the effect of our global knowledge and experience.
During my nine years with CH2M, I have seen many junior people joining us, learning on the job and being promoted. Our company is flexible in terms of working hours, which means we can work on international projects either from Krakow, or from the client location, or sometimes on the other side of the world. Our people prepare studies, reports, engineering calculations, specifications and drawings at the same time getting to know different industry standards and different cultures, making friends and enjoying friendly atmosphere. This is what we mean by a global company.
