Deepwater Container Terminal 2 Expansion
Expanding DCT Gdansk’s deepwater container terminal to maintain the region's competitive advantage.
As document coordinator for the DCT Gdansk project, an expansion of the largest deepwater container terminal in Poland and a huge economic achievement for both Poland and the Baltic region, Paulina is responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation and for providing transparent and timely communication between DCT Gdansk and CH2M team members in two locations.
Her biggest challenge is meeting the client’s high expectations and meeting strict deadlines on time, in accordance with expectations, and coordination of the communication process at the tendering stage so that the client can provide the contractor with answers. “We are responsible for the entire communication on behalf of the client.”
She is especially proud of being part of a project that is so important to the continuing growth of the regional economy and is excited to be able to see progress every day from her window at the project site. Paulina says,
It's great to be part of a project of such huge scale with a team serving a common goal with purpose and dedication.
Paulina has been especially impressed with the teamwork among the CH2M staff. Although located in both the U.K. and Poland, the team is completely integrated and supportive of one another. This, along with her co-workers’ enthusiasm for satisfying the client and making the project successful, make it a pleasure to come to work every day.
