The best part of my job is working through those challenging times – no two days are the same and you never know what challenge may come your way. But there is nothing more rewarding than getting the answers, finding the solution and seeing a project through to construction. You know that no matter how small your role, you were a part of getting it built.

Dates and deadlines

Positions close when we're done recruiting for them, so apply as soon as you can! We usually begin around November or December and finish by April or May of the upcoming year, but new opportunities pop up throughout the year, so create a job alert to be notified when new opportunities arise.

We operate a global summer Internship program, which starts in June every year. Most interns and placement students/ co-ops join us around that time to participate in the program, although you may be able to join us before or after based on your schedule and the requirements of the role.

Graduates join us between the months of June and October each year, although you may be able to join us sooner or later based on your schedule and the requirements of the role.

Development and progression

The global summer Internship program will allow you to apply the theories you've learned to practical tasks and project activities alongside our engineers, designers and specialists. We have crafted additional opportunities to help you succeed, including:

Setting goals that motivate you

When the internship begins, you’ll work with your supervisor to set goals for the summer, and aim to meet them as the internship ends. You will learn the art of defining SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely) objectives, and measuring achievements in tangible terms. You will also learn how your work contributes to the overall goals of the projects. Towards the end of the summer, you may have the chance to share your achievements in a short presentation to our senior leadership team.

Mentorship that helps you set your career path

In addition to learning on the job, you will have the opportunity to participate in learning sessions to cultivate your knowledge of our company and the industry. You will be supported by buddies and mentors who will guide you if you have any questions and support you as you think about your career.

Networking with our leadership

A unique pillar of our Global Summer Internship Program is the opportunity to engage and network with our Executive management team and our CEO. Throughout the program, you will hear and learn from our Business group presidents, other key executive leadership and our CEO, Jacque Hinman.

Going beyond your summer internship

Many of our interns are asked to return for an internship the following year, and many are offered permanent positions once they graduate. We look forward to having you join our team!

Full-time hires have an opportunity to get instantly engaged with our many Employee Network Groups offering them an opportunity for instant development opportunities. You will also be paired with an onboarding specialist who will help make your transition into the organization that much easier.
