As an active member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar, Domenica Stasiak promotes and models the mission of giving women a unique place and voice within the engineering industry. With 19 years of industry experience, Domenica specializes in marine-related projects involving structural design, inspection and rehabilitation analysis.
Working as a senior project manager on some of New York’s key waterfront initiatives, Domenica has successfully delivered the game-changing Rockaway Boardwalk redevelopment and storm resiliency project in Queens; the Manhattan Cruise Terminal Piers 88, west apron replacement; reconstruction of the waterfront bulkhead and stabilization of the existing shoreline at Roberto Clemente State Park; cyclical inspection of piers, wharves, bulkheads and pile fields within Hudson River Park; and comprehensive “on-call” marine engineering services for waterfront sites in all five boroughs of New York City.
Domenica is currently serving as project manager for the Green Infrastructure Program in the Bronx, responsible for site selection, engineering and design services during construction for 476 right-of-way green infrastructure sites for a project area covering 733 acres.
