India Office Poised for Future

CH2M HILL's recently opened an area office in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, underscores our belief in the long-term opportunities in the area, including IT technology excellence, the demand for innovation, and the rapidly growing market for the expertise and services CH2M HILL has to offer.

Concurrently, CH2M HILL CEO Ralph Peterson, Don Evans, and other leaders took part in the World Economic Forum— The India Summit, organized by the World Economic Forum & Confederation of Indian Industry. The event brought together more than 600 business and public-opinion leaders from more than 30 countries. Peterson chaired the opening plenary along with Finance Minister P. Chidambaram' Nandan Nilekani, the chief executive of Indian software and IT services giant Infosys; and the chairman of EMMAR, Mohamed A. Alabbar.

Peterson also facilitated the WEF luncheon Q&A session with Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dixit. He talked of India taking a leadership role in preventing greenhouse gas emissions in addition to utilizing and developing new technologies.
