The West Deptford Energy Station is located on a site comprised of approximately 302 acres of land located in West Deptford Township, New Jersey.
This new generating plant will be a 715 MW net with supplemental duct firing 2 x 1 combined cycle power plant consisting of two natural gas fired Siemens SGT6-5000F combustion turbines generator equipped with dry low NOx combustors and evaporative inlet coolers. Two triple pressure heat recovery steam generator's (HRSG's) with supplementary duct firing will be provided along with an Alstom STF 30C frame steam turbine exhausting to a water-cooled surface condenser. An aqueous ammonia SCR is being provided as part to this project. This project will be fueled by natural gas.
The power produced by the generating station will pass through step up transformers for delivery to the 230KV switchyard out through and overhead tie line and connect to the grid. This plant will be interconnected with the Atlantic City Electric transmission system. In support of the generator operation a facility service building along with a water treatment building will be provided.
